Ranking Priorities

Here is how did I GROUP them by letter and number.
This is the most important part. According to different due dates for each items, I determine priorities.

In this part, I list all my tasks in this week.

This week, my blog will focus on Ranking Priorities. I personally divide this problem solving skill into two main steps. First, rank tasks. Just as its name implies, I decide which task is more essential and which one can be delayed for a while. Basically, this is the most important but also most tricky part. Once having ranked all tasks, it comes to second step---execute. It is time to accomplish each in order. Now I will show you how did I rank my priorities this week.
First, I wrote all my tasks down. Just in case, I checked my calendar to make sure I had listed everything. Don't leave anything behind, otherwise, you have no chance to accomplish that on time.
Second, rank them. According to the textbook, I divided tasks into three levels. A means absolutely essential. B means important, and C means it doesn't matter.
Third, group them by numbering. In some extent, I ranked tasks again. But this time, it is more specific. I determinded which task is more important in group A, and which is more essential in group B and so on.
And then, it is time to accomplish them in order.
All in all, ranking priorities is a very useful strategy. It works for me, and I strongly recommend this. To be honest, my first contact with this kind strategy was when I played vedio game "Silent Hunter", but I didn't have chance to systematically study this until last week.
