As you can see from the image, I have more than one hour time between MAT295 and CLS105 on both Monday and Wednesday. And I will have nearly two hours before I go to AST104.
The situation is similar on Thursday. One hour and forty minutes between MAT and CAS101. More than two hours between CAS101 and AST.
What's more, I even have a four hours and fifteen minutes break on Friday. This is not a short time any more, but I guess this period of time is still suitable for Fritter Finder strategy.
According to the textbook, I made my own weekly schedule. I have to admit that coloring non-class time is a really great method. It can help me locate all the fritter times clearly. And then, according to the time table, I can easily find out how long are they. The final step is the most important but also the most difficult part, I have to determine how to use them.
Generally speaking, I use fritter time to review what I just learned from last class and prepare for my next class, since all of those fritter times are between two classes.
For exmaple, all of my MAT295 assignments will be completed during the break just after each classes. And I found it is relatively easier to do so than accumulating lots of homework and then trying hard to finish them together during the weekend.
Another example is that I use my giant four hours break to complete my AST assignments and prepare for the Lab.since I don't want to face too much homework during my valuable weekend, I will try to finish them as much as possible in advance.
All in all, Fritter Finder works for me. This strategy help me submit all the assignment on time and have a really good weekend at the same time. I like Fritter Finder and I will continue to use this for sure.
Hi Ke, you have described your fritter finder strategy in details.Good job~
ReplyDeleteAs you ususally have loner breaks between classes, I recommend the 10 minutes strategy and 20 minutes test prep strategy.

nice breakdown of the fritter finder. I wish that you had highlighted the free spaces in your image as it would have made it a bit more clear. I also find that I have short breaks in between classes. Thought I agree with Viola above about the possibility of using the 20 minute strategy, I find that it's difficult to dedicate those brief moments of the day towards productive work.
